A long list of general items and tools that are useful to the photographer in the field. Pick and choose what fits your needs. Note that some items are more suited to a few days in the woods and some for a day at a wedding. As little as white pantyhose can help you on a three day hike, a snake bite kit is not useful at a wedding (depending on the Mother-of-Bridezilla of course....). Following are in no particular order.
Print it out and take along on your next shopping trip.

Before
coming in to the warmth from cold weather, put your entire photo bag into
the plastic bag. Force out all of the air and twist tight. Bring inside
and let rise to room temp over an hour or so. Prevents condensation. |

a screwdriver for battery compartments, to make payphone calls and for
